G Galatina is a municipality in the province of Lecce of approx. 30,000 inhabitants located in a central position, just 20km from the capital in a southerly direction. From a meteorological point of view, Galatina is part of the lower Salento area which has a typically Medi-terranean climate, with mild winters and hot, humid summers.
