Large and modern studio apartment that was completely renovated in January 2020. It is located on the mezzanine floor (4 steps) of a building in Bologna’s historic city center, close to the Paladozza and in a perfect position for exploring the city.
Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and are provided with bed linens and towels. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain how everything works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, our staff is available to address any requests or concerns.
This refined open space of about 40 sqm was decorated with elegant furniture, made to measure by Italian craftsmen. The entrance has a wrought iron coat rack and opens onto the main room with the combined living and sleeping area. The double bed (160 x 200 cm) is surrounded by a large wardrobe.
The kitchen is spacious and perfectly equipped. It has an electric oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine (capsules not included), toaster, electric kettle, and induction burners. The dining table can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests. Next to the kitchen, there is a hidden single bed (90 x 200 cm).
The bathroom is particularly spacious and well designed. It is equipped with a large crystal shower stall, heated towel rack, a cabinet to store your cleaning products, and a washing machine.
The apartment has the latest generation anti-noise windows with high thermal resistance, electric shutters, ceramic floor tiles with a parquet effect, air conditioning, and central heating. There is a fast fiber optic internet connection that you can use to connect to your Netflix account on the 32” smart TV.

Area:
This property is located in an excellent position, close to the ancient city walls. You can park your car on the neighboring Via Calori in order to unload your luggage and then go to one of the municipal car parks in the historic city center just a short walk away (ApCoa Riva Reno). The apartment is located in the historic city center of Bologna, inside the limited traffic area and close to the Palazzo dello Sport Giuseppe Dozza, where the renowned local basketball team (La Fortitudo) plays. Piazza Maggiore, the 2 towers, and all the main monuments are nearby and can be reached in a 10-minute walk.
Numerous restaurants are located in the Porta Lame area, including the famous Bolognese chef Cesare Marretti’s restaurant (Via Leopardi). Just a short walk from the apartment you can visit the museum of contemporary art MamBo, spend an evening at the Cinema Lumiere, at the Harlequin, or even venture to the Earth Market on Via Azzo Giardino, where every Saturday morning you can find the local organic products.
In the area, you will also find the Cineteca di Bologna and the Cavaticcio park, near the famous “Cassero” disco. The large “September 11” park is a small green area close to home.
Public transportation:
Along Viale Silvani, at the end of Via Calori, buses 35 and 36 stop, leading to the train station, and bus 28 for the Fair. Buses 18, 86 e 29 take you to the heart of downtown.
Parking:
The apartment is located just inside the limited traffic area (ZTL), which starts right in Via Dolfi, and an access ticket is requested. The nearest garage is in Via Azzo Gardino 61b (APCOA Riva Reno) which is located about 200 m. away. from the apartment. Possibility of monthly subscription, daily cost € 15 for 24h.
